In 2016, Grace Bible Church in Houston started hosting experiential discipleship trips in western North Carolina...
These trips used outdoor activities to develop intentional relationships while also train people in disciple-making skills. The trips had an immediate impact, and as word spread, the number of trips started to grow. Last year, we took trips for men, young adults, married couples, college students, and high school students.
We have found these trips to be incredibly effective for building relationships and for equipping disciple-makers. Therefore, we decided to start a separate non-profit to export this training to other churches. That is when Hilltop Adventures was born!
